Two teenage girls assaulted outside train station

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after two teenage girls were assaulted outside Beccles train station.

The incident happened on Station Road at around 4.25pm on Tuesday 30th March.

The victims, two 17 year old girls, were approached by a group of approximately 10 young males and females.

Two of the females from the group are reported to have punched the girls, pulled their hair and pushed them to the ground where the girls were then kicked.

The girls sustained cuts and bruises and attended hospital for medical assessment.

One of the female suspects is described as white with red, curly hair.

Enquiries are ongoing and officers are urging witnesses or anyone knows those responsible to contact Suffolk Police on 101 quoting reference 37/15754/21.
