Vehicles seized by police after warrant executed at property

Police have arrested a man and seized a number of vehicles following the execution of a search warrant in Bungay.

The warrant was conducted by officers at a property during yesterday morning, Tuesday 13th April.

A 34 year old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal motor vehicles, suspicion of dangerous driving, suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs namely cannabis and cocaine and on suspicion of money laundering offences.

He was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning and subsequently released on police bail pending further police enquiries.

During the warrant three vehicles were seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

These were two commercial vehicles and a Range Rover, five motorbikes, a quantity of jewellery, a quantity of cash in the region of £1000, as well as suspected cocaine and cannabis.

Additionally, amongst other items there were various power tools also seized and an outboard motor.
