Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Kessingland where three dogs were attacked by another dog.

It took place on Saturday 1st May on the High Street at around 6pm.

A woman was walking her three dogs – two terriers and a retriever – all on leads when an unknown staffie dog running lose approached the three dogs from behind and attacked them all.

It is described as a grey staffie cross with a white ‘blaze’ on its face.

The owner was a woman, around 19 to 20 years old, approximately 5ft 1in tall and had had bleach blonde hair in ringlets. She was wearing grey leggings and possibly a pink top.

When the owner of the three dogs challenged the owner of the staffie dog she refused to give her details and claimed her dog had slipped her lead. The dogs were unhurt in the incident.

Police would like to speak to the owner of the staffie dog about the reported incident and if anyone knows who she was should contact Suffolk police on 101 quoting crime number 37/22367/21
