Driver arrested following collision in Lowestoft

A driver has been arrested for multiple offences following a single vehicle collision in Lowestoft last night.

Suffolk Police were called to the collision at 11.45pm on Monday, 19th July, which occurred on Katwijk Way.

Lowestoft Police’s Neighbourhood Response Team attended the scene of the incident where one male was arrested.

The driver was found to be over the drink drive limit and did not hold a license.

27 year old Stephen Knowles of Notely Road in Lowestoft was subsequently charged with drink driving and driving with no insurance, no driving licence and no MOT.

He has been released on police bail to answer at Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court on 11th August
