The A12 at Martlesham has now reopened following a collision involving two vehicles earlier this morning.
Police were called just before 7.10am today, Thursday 10th June, to reports of a two vehicle collision on the southbound carriageway of the A12 at Martlesham.
As a result of the incident, at the roundabout near Aldi, one vehicle had overturned onto its side.
The driver of the overturned vehicle was assessed at the scene by paramedics having sustained a cut to the head.
Fire crews from Ipswich and Woodbridge were also mobilised to the collision.
One lane was closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident but all lanes have since reopened.
