Two people have been taken to hospital after a car crashed into a building on the High Street in Clare earlier today.

Police were called at around 9.10am today, Wednesday 24th February, to reports that a vehicle had collided with a building.

Fire crews from Clare, Long Melford and Haverhill were also mobilised to the incident along with the ambulance service.

The crews worked to release two people from the vehicle and they were taken to West Suffolk Hospital by ambulance.

Neither is thought to have suffered life-changing or life-threatening injuries as a result.
