Fire crews were called to a kitchen fire in Haverhill this morning with reports of one person being inside the property.
Three appliances, from Haverhill and Clare, were sent to the incident in Chestnut Close just after 8.30am today, Friday 16th October.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service said that the fire broke out in an area approximately 5m by 6m and that all persons had been accounted for.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels and jets to extinguish the blaze.
A stop to the incident was called just before 9.30am with one crew still on scene as of 10.30am.
