One casualty had to be released by the fire service following a collision on the A1056 earlier today.
Emergency services were called to the incident at the junction with the B1112 just before 10am this morning, Saturday 17th October.
Three fire appliances from Brandon, Mildenhall and Newmarket were sent to the crash along with Suffolk Police and the East of England Ambulance Service.
On arrival they found two vehicles had collided with one ending up on its side.
Fire crews worked to stabilise the vehicle and release one casualty who was left in the care of the ambulance service.
The road was closed for just under two hours while the incident was dealt with and has now reopened.
The driver of one of the vehicles has been reported for dangerous driving with police thanking the public for their patience while recovery took place.
Mildenhall Police posted to Twitter saying: “Please remember even if you look both ways, remember the speed of the road you’re pulling onto.”
