Police investigate stabbing in early hours

A teenager is in hospital after being stabbed during an incident in Newmarket in the early hours of this morning.

Officers were called by the ambulance service just before 3.05am today, Friday 4th June, to reports that a man, aged in his late teens, had been stabbed in Mill Hill.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries and is described as being in a stable condition.

No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries into the incident are continuing. However the parties involved are believed to be known to one another.
