Police are appealing for witnesses after a break-in at a property in Red Lodge yesterday.
The incident occurred at some time between 5.40am and 4.40pm on Wednesday, 19th August, at a house in Bayberry Close.
The front door was forced open, with damage caused to the frame consistent with the use of a jemmy.
Nothing is believed to have been stolen and it is possible the offender was deterred from searching the house due to the presence of a dog.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who has any information regarding this crime, is asked to contact West CID at Bury St Edmunds Police Station, quoting reference: 48195/20.
